FAQ

Is it really as tough as a regular gi, being this light?
Yes. The Military Rip-Stop collar and pants, combined with reinforcements on all stress points, make this gi competition-ready. The Ultra Light series is tested by Atama's own competition team — they wouldn't train in something weak.

What's the difference between the Rookie and the Sunset?
Same Ultra Light construction and materials. The difference is in the design: the Rookie features sleeve embroidery, while the Sunset has shoulder patches. Both are built to the same performance standard.

Can I use this gi for daily training?
Absolutely. It was optimised for competition and hot weather, but handles daily training well. The fast-drying fabric is a bonus for back-to-back sessions.
