Gi Pants

BJJ gi pants from Atama, for when your pants wear out before the jacket or you want a spare pair. Choose 100% cotton, military Rip-Stop or Ultra Light, plus Ultra Light pants cut for women.

Every pair has a strong drawstring at the waist, triple stitching on all seams and a double layer from the knee down to the hem.

Which BJJ gi pants should you buy?

Cotton pants are the traditional choice: comfortable, durable and easy to move in. Military Rip-Stop is lighter, tougher and dries faster, which helps if you train twice a day or travel with your kit. The Ultra Light pants use a light military Rip-Stop and are IBJJF approved for competition. The women's Ultra Light pants come in sizes F1 to F4.

Adult pants come in A sizes. If you already own an Atama gi that fits, take the same size; otherwise check the size chart. Before a tournament, read the IBJJF uniform rules on matching pants and jacket. Wash cold and hang to dry: hot water and the dryer weaken the fibres and shorten the life of the fabric.

Can I wear these pants in IBJJF competitions?

The Ultra Light pants are IBJJF approved. Whatever pair you choose, check the IBJJF uniform rules on colour and fit before an event.
