Premium Atama BJJ Belts

Premium Atama BJJ belts in 100% cotton, with a double inner lining, 13 aligned seams and a 4.5 cm width. They are more structured, wider and heavier than our standard belts, and built to last longer.

Each belt has high-definition embroidered labels and embroidered Japanese characters. CBJJ/IBJJF approved, from white to black.

Premium BJJ belts: what makes them different

A premium belt is built to keep its shape. The double inner lining and 13 aligned seams make it firmer than a standard belt, and the 4.5 cm width gives it a solid feel around the waist. Many instructors, competitors and long-time practitioners choose them, and they make a good gift for a training partner's promotion.

Sizes run from A1 to A4. Most people take the same size as their gi; if you are buying a gift, ask for the person's gi size or contact us. The belts are finished by hand, so lengths can vary slightly from the figures on the product page.

FAQ

What do the Japanese characters mean?

On the white, blue, purple and brown belts they read "Kokutai e no michi", the way to the black belt. On the black belt they read "eien no gakushū", eternal learning.

Is the premium belt approved for competition?

Yes. It is approved by the CBJJ and the IBJJF.

Is it worth paying more than for a standard belt?

If you want a belt that is wider, firmer and more durable, yes. For a belt you will wear only until your next promotion, the standard belt does the job.

Can I return a premium belt?
